After multi days of cold weather we eventually made it to the Sahara and warmth. They put funny costumes on us to help with the photo ops and drove us out to the camels and the carts. I was a cart person. We took our pics, the sun went down and it got cold again. “ Tourism” can be so contrived ! It’s hard not to be cynical.
